Backgrounds

I worked for many years as an animation background artist. This involved hand painting each background for every scene change in an animation film. For a ten-minute film, there would be possibly 70 -100 backgrounds.

Much of my work as a background artist, involved the development of a style for the backgrounds to give the films a new look or feel.

By 2000 almost all backgrounds are produced on computer, and I no longer paint animation backgrounds, maybe this art will return?
